PRESS STATEMENT.
CANCELLATIONOF SANITATION EXERCISE ON SATURDAY (28/5/16) IN RIVERS STATE.
The Rivers State Government has canceled the sanitation exercise billed for tomorrow, Saturday, the 28/5/16.
This is to enable residents of the State to join the governor of Rivers
State , Nyesom Wike, in the events lined up to commemorate the
government's one year in office.
On Saturday, which is DAY 4 of
the anniversary celebrations, The governor will commission completed
road projects that will enhance the quality of life of the people of the
State.
Governor Wike will commission the AZIKIWE STREET ( at 10
:00 AM), BISHOP OKOYE STREET (at 10:30AM) and the ELIOZU-RUMUNDU
-ELIMGBU (OROIGWE) ROAD (at 11:00 AM)
Other projects to be
commissioned by the governor are the RUKPOKWU-ENEKA Road,( at 11:30am),
NELSON MANDELA (SARS) ROAD (at 12:00 PM), as well as the RUMUAHOLU
Road (at 12 :30 PM).
Road users are please advised to divert to
alternative routes during the periods of the commissioning events in
the stated locations.
We regret any inconveniences travelers might experience around the locations of these events.
